Farhana

A month before their wedding, a tragic car accident claimed the groom’s (Farid’s) life and left the bride (Farhana), as the sole survivor. Unable to overcome reality, Farhana enters a state of delusion where she recognizes Fauzie (the twin brother) as the late Farid. The identical resemblance of both twin brothers reinforces Farhana’s delusion and ultimately forces everyone around them to carry on with the intended wedding with the hopes that she will recover. But is this the best way to treat such a situation? One thing for sure - a delusional woman, a brother’s last wish and family pressure might not be the best combination to plan a fake-one-of-a-kind wedding.

Farid and Farhana are taking the wedding preparation seriously. Fauzie, the groom’s identical twin brother, offers his wedding photography services as a gift to help with the financial cost. Amidst the wedding preparation, the couple faces a tragic accident that claimed Farid’s life. Farhana, the sole survivor of the accident, recovers from a coma and slips into a state of delusion, believing that Fauzie is Farid. Her mother, Noor, decides to take control of the situation by persuading Fauzie to be Farid in the hopes that it will help Farhana get over her loss gradually. Meanwhile, Fauzie’s mother, Salmah, is facing some problems with her memory.

Will Fauzie role play as Farid in order to “help” Farhana?
