This is the classic scene from our TV station’s first ever drama series “The Awakening”, and Ah Zhen was the youngest extra on the film set, playing one of the contract workers sold to Singapore. Since then, Ah Zhen became irreversibly bonded with local Chinese drama production, and was destined to spend the rest of her life working in this line.
